Marine National Monument east of French Frigate Shoals



Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average height

of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be more than

twice the significant wave height.

A front N of the islands will keep a ridge far NE of the area for

the next couple of days. The ridge will strengthen N of the area 

during the first half of next week as the front dissipates.
