FNUS73 KMQT 211035 FWSMQT Spot Forecast for Conlon Rx...USWFS National Weather Service Marquette MI 635 AM EDT Sun Jun 21 2026 Forecast is based on ignition time of 1000 EDT on June 21. If conditions become unrepresentative...contact the National Weather Service. .DISCUSSION... With high and low pressure systems remaining far from the UP today, winds will be light and variable to begin with. A lake breeze will develop off of both Great Lakes, with the Lake Michigan lake breeze passing the location around 2 PM, though some models have this occurring around 3 or 4 PM. There is also a 30 percent chance of the lake breeze kicking off some rain showers as soon as 2 PM and up to 50% chances of rain by 5 PM. While severe weather is not forecast, there is a 15% chance that the showers that do occur will have at least some lightning. Precipitation should quickly wrap up around 8 PM. Except for in the immediate vicinity of a thunderstorm, winds should remain light, though the direction may be variable with any outflow from heavy rain showers/thunderstorms, even those that do not occur at the burn site. As high pressure builds in Monday, no precipitation is forecast after 8 PM tonight. Winds will be higher, around 10 mph with gusts as high as 15-20 mph, though the direction will be more consistently out of the north to northwest. .REST OF TODAY...
