Pockets of moderate rainfall in south central SD and into the southern MO River Valley could bring rainfall totals around and above half an inch, with rainfall amounts quickly decreasing to the northeast. Expect a lull for some locations during the late morning and early afternoon. Severe weather is not expected, but may see some gusts this morning of 40 to 50 mph behind showers. Cooler today and tonight, with rainfall lingering tonight west of I-29. Near to below average temperatures continue this week, with periodic shower and thunderstorm chances through at least mid week.
