Very warm and humid conditions will return today, although scattered showers and thunderstorms will increase by mid to late morning generally south of the I-20 corridor of East Texas and North Louisiana, as a strong seabreeze will lift north through the region today. These showers and thunderstorms will track into portions of Southern Arkansas this afternoon before exiting the region, and will result in abnormally high min RH's ranging from 60-70% today. Strong southerly 20ft winds will also result in gusts to 25 mph, except gustier in and near the storms today. Patchy fog will be possible late tonight over the area, with a complex of showers and thunderstorms tracking southeast expected to affect Southeast Oklahoma and portions of extreme Northeast Texas/Southwest Arkansas shortly before daybreak Monday. These storms will weaken Monday morning, but may build farther south into extreme Northeast Texas, Southern Arkansas and extreme Northern Louisiana during the day before weakening during the late afternoon/early evening. Meanwhile, hot, humid, and drier conditions will prevail farther south across Deep East Texas and Northcentral Louisiana, with additional scattered showers and thunderstorms again possible Tuesday especially north of I-20. Unsettled weather will continue Wednesday and Thursday over the northeast half of the area, before hotter and drier conditions return areawide for late week into next weekend.
