Increasing clouds west to east across the region as a mid level wave will bring rain, and a few weak thunderstorms, over south central SD this evening with the rain tracking northward and becoming widespread over central South Dakota late tonight through Sunday. Rain will taper off northwest to southeast over the region Sunday evening. Rainfall amounts could be near or exceed one inch over south central SD with amounts potentially dropping off dramatically with little if any expected east of a line from Aberdeen to Watertown.
