Storms will form along an incoming front, mainly over the far eastern plains and the Palmer, moving to the south- southeast with time. Strong to severe storms are expected, with wind gusts to 70 mph or so being the main impact concern. If storms manage to remain more isolated from one another, they will quickly intensify, producing winds up to 75 mph and hail up to the size of ping pong balls. Critical fire weather conditions are also expected over portions of the higher terrain today and into tonight. Make sure to avoid any activities that could spark a fire. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday Throughout this week, showers and thunderstorms will be possible over the plains each day. Closer to the eastern border of Colorado, better ingredients will allow for storms to become strong to severe. Large hail, damaging winds and a tornado or two will be possible through this period. Over the mountains, it will remain quite warm and very dry, and fire weather concerns will be high through this period over the higher terrain. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Weather conditions that meet reporting criteria for spotters will be possible over portions of the region. $$ GARBEROGLIO/GARBEROGLIO
